Game Summary

The season finale was a great showing for the Blue Angels, competing in a low scoring 9 inning game.  The Blue Angels held a 6-0 lead after 4 innings but could only score 1 additional run in the last 5 innings.  Defensively, the Blue Angels played very well and above average playing with the lead until the top of the 8th inning when the opposition scored 4 times to take their first lead of the game.  A couple of players were making their season debuts and performed very well.  Pitcher #19 Michael McKenney was exception taking the tough loss.  He aided his own cause with an inside the park home run to lead off the game.  #39 Brandon MacKay limped his way to an inside the park home run in the bottom of the 8th inning. The loss ends the season for the Blue Angels at 11-17, a respectable finish given how many upper teams they played this year.
