Game Summary

Game #2 was against a lesser opponent provoking a better outcome for the Blue Angels. Only allowing 5 runs over 8 innings, the Blue Angels' defense was on point while their offense maintained their average. It seems that, offensively, the Blue Angels' batters haven't been able to find their swings all at the same time. In Game #1, some bats were hot and then cooled  in Game #2. The males only failed to get on base 3 of 23 at bats in Game #2 (including a home run out).  The females picked up the slack in Game #1, however, were stymied in this game with the exception of #9 Casey Perreault and #16 Tracy McFee. #15 Michael Lavender notched his 4th home run of the season in limited at bats, a solo shot in the bottom of the 4th inning. #39 Brandon MacKay also found himself back in the home run column in the bottom of the 3rd inning with his 5th real home run of the season, a 3 run shot. On defense, #89 Cory Brunarski made a TV slide in the outfield to rob a female opponent of a hit in the top of the 4th inning. The win gives the Blue Angels a split on the evening and improves their record to 8-9 on the season.
