Game Summary

The Blue Angels played their first double header of the season on this night and Game 1 wasn't their best effort. Only 2 female batters were able to score a run and without #19 Michael McKenney's 2 home runs, the score would have been more lop sided then 14-9. The opponent's were not a strong team, however the Blue Angels' defense were handing them runs with overthrows and missed catches. Errors seemed to be bunched in a couple of innings causing a big number on the home half of the score board a time or two. Typically, the Blue Angels play better with fewer players, but that was not the case in Game 1. The Blue Angels dipped below 0.500 with a loss in the first game, dropping to 3-4 on the season.
