Game Summary

     The Blue Angels laid their second beat down in a row on a defenseless opponent who were playing their second game of a double header.  Unlike the previous game, this team played until the end and were happy to do so.  The Blue Angels were only shut down in the 7th and final inning.  They scored two separate 7 run innings.  Using his new bat of two games, #8 Chris Herbert had the best statistical game in Blue Angels franchise history, scoring all five times he batted including 2 home runs and an additional inside the park shot.  Defensively, the Blue Angels had one of their better games, with very few errors and several great plays or attempts at great plays.  #3 Jamie-Lee Hogan scored her 100th career run in her 300th career at bat in the 5th inning.The win improves the Blue Angels' record to 12-6 on the season and 2-1 in July.
