Game Summary

     The Blue Angels were on the good end of a walk-off win on this night after a closely contested match versus a 'bottom' team in their division.  The game was tied after the 2nd, 4th, and 7th innings. The opponents scored runs nearly every inning except for when it counted late in the game.  The Blue Angels scored big early and big late to set up a bottom of the 8th and final inning situation of 2 outs and a runner at first.  #9 Casey Perreault came through with a full count single to move the runners to 1st and 2nd.  #82 Andrew Piluso finished it off with a single up the middle to easily score the runner from 2nd.  The Blue Angels were only in a tie game situation in the bottom of the 8th inning because of a great shoestring catch in the top half of the inning by #46 Paul Eccles with 0 outs and a runner at 1st base, forcing a go ahead run all the way back to 1st base.  Another game with very consistent output from the Blue Angels' offense.  After suffering a similar defeat the night before, the Blue Angels will take the close victory improving their record to 6-5 overall and 4-1 in June.
