Game Summary

• Back at Memorial #1 for a blowout victory for the Flaming Moe's.
• Virtually every Flaming Moe's batter improved their average on this night.
• The Flaming Moe's were down 2-1 after the first inning.
• After the Flaming Moe's cored 6 runs in the top of the 2nd inning, the opponents stormed back with 7 runs in the bottom half to expand their lead to 9-7.
• The 3rd inning went 2-1 in favour of the Flaming Moe's to close the gap to 10-9, however, it got out of control in the 4th inning an on from there.
• The Flaming Moe's scored 7 runs in the top of the 4th inning and a whooping 13 runs in the 5th inning while the opponents were held off the board, making the score 29-10 after 5 inning.
• The 6th inning was lead off by #25 Jonathan Quirt whom hit a double that he stretched out into a triple with a slide, and for the second game in a row, he took out a female opponent (this time due to poor positioning of the opponent). Full marks for playing 100% until the final buzzer.
• That play unfortunately unleashed spineless verbal chatter from both the opponents on field and the Flaming Moe's on the bench.
• The pissed off opponents seemed to play better after that, scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to narrow the score to 30-17.
• The Flaming Moe's scored an additional run in the top of the 7th and final inning (regardless of the score for a mercy), leaving a 14 run deficit for the opponents to overcome.
• The Flaming Moe's held them to 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning for the 31-20 win.
• How about 2 home runs from #5 Mike Frank including a grand slam in the 13 run top of the 5th inning, his 2nd and 3rd real home runs of the season.
• The win improves the Flaming Moe's record to 3-7 on the season and closes June out 3-5.
