Game Summary

• After 4 rescheduled games due to rain to start the season, the re-branded "Flaming Moe's" took to the field against a familiar foe from seasons past.
• Played at Memorial #1, both teams were moved to the upper division this year and won't see Plymouth Park.
• The final score was not indicative of how the game went for the Flaming Moe's.
• In the first 5 innings, the Flaming Moe's only score a single run in the top of the 4th inning.
• The opponents struggled offensively as well, as they only scored 8 runs over the first 5 inning despite 5 walks.
• The Flaming Moe's defense stranded the bases loaded in the bottom of the 1st inning and minimized the damage in the 2nd and 3rd innings to 2 runs in each by ending both with double plays.
• The 3rd inning double play saw #9 Casey Perreault catch a line drive while running over the 2nd base to double off the leaning runner at 2nd.
• The top of the 6th inning started promising for the Flaming Moe's but they could only cash 2 runs. stranding the bases loaded.
