Game Summary

• After another rain canceled game, the Flaming Moe's were playing only the 2nd game out of 7 scheduled.
• The opponents won the first inning 3-1, but had amassed a 10-1 lead after the the top of the 2nd inning.
• After a blank 3rd inning, the opponents won the 4th inning 4-1, the 5th inning 7-0, and scored an additional 6 runs in the top of the 6th inning  for a total of 27-2 before the Flaming Moe's batted in the bottom of the 6th.
• The Flaming Moe's bats did finally wake up for 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning.
• Needing 13 runs to force an 8th inning, the Flaming Moe's could only score 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning for a final score of 27-9.
• The Flaming Moe's played with 4 females and thus 9 fielders until midway through the game, however, adding a 4th outfielder did not make a difference in the pace of runs the opponents were scoring.
