Game Summary

• The ManBearPigs were playing an opponent they had never defeated before and probably should not have on this night either.
• The Plymouth Park property, never mind the diamond, could not contain the opponents male batters when they were actually trying.
• The opponents were allowing runs as needed to be behind by the end of the game.
• In the top of the 2nd inning, the ManBearPigs went ahead 7-2 thanks to a grand slam by #10 Doug Brascoupe.
• In the bottom of the 4th and 5th innings, the opponent began to try and put up 12 runs combined to go ahead 15-10.
• The ManBearPigs were held to 1 run per inning 5 times until the top of the 8th and final inning, where they need 5 runs to tie (16-11).
• The opponents quite obviously were making errors to allow the ManBearPigs a small lead.  The pitcher asked several times in one at bat to make sure the score was tied.
• The ManBearPigs carried a 18-16 lead into the bottom of the 8th inning where the ManBearPigs could have recorded 5 straight outs as the opponent's male batters were driving the ball straight into the ground.
• Down by 2 runs, the opponents could have easily scored 1 run on the 2 male batters alone but chose to saunter to the next bag.
• The whole game was a joke and a tough way to "win" and inflate statistics, save for the home runs, which one still has to hit, meatball pitch or not.
• Highlight of the game was a 4 base award to the opponents when #3 Jamie Lee Hogan promptly tipped a ball over the outfield fence after discussing not to do that at the start of the game.
• The "win" evens the ManBearPigs' season record at 10-10-1 and their July record at 3-3.
