Game Summary

• Game 1 of a double header.
• After establishing a 7-0 lead after 2 innings, the ManBearPigs had home run outs on the brain as the ball was flying out of Plymouth Park on this night.
• Before the ManBearPigs knew it, the opponents had tied the game at 8s after a 5-run top of the 5th inning.
• The ManBearPigs got 3 runs back in the bottom half of the 5th inning to go back up 11-8 but surrendered an additional 7 runs in the top of the 6th inning and were losing for the first time in the game 15-11.
• Even though the ManBearPigs' defense only allowed one more run in the top of the 7th inning, their offense did not score in their last 4 innings and lost the game 16-11.
• There were too many home runs to list but the 2 legitimate home runs were used up by the 2nd inning and first time through the order.
• The ManBearPigs ran with 4 females (therefore 9 fielders) however, not many balls went to the outfield, where they were shorthanded.
• The majority of the errors could be found under the gloves of every infielder as the ball was finding every hole.
• #13 Stephanie Skelton fielded for the top of the 1st inning until a late arriving female made it just in time for her first at bat.
• The loss is the ManBearPigs' 4th of the season and evens their July record at 4-4 and overall record of 20-4.
