Game Summary

• The ManBearPigs had another close battle with this middle of the pack opponent.
• The game started out poorly for the ManBearPigs allowing 7 runs in the first two innings.
• While the ManBearPigs could only score 5 runs in the first six innings, they locked down defensively, closing the gap to 8-5 after the end of the 6th inning.
• After winning the 7th inning 5-2, the ManBearPigs tied the game at 10 runs a piece.
• The opponents put up 1 run in the bottom of the 8th inning and, if the inning took one minute longer, that would have been the end of the game.
• There was time for a 9th and final inning where the ManBearPigs scored 4 runs and put up a zero on defense.
• #19 Michael McKenney hit two home runs in the top of the 3rd and 7th innings with at least 4 RBIs total.
• #39 Brandon MacKay had his first 2 home run game of the season, both for outs however, and therefore unimpressive.
• Because it's fun to note, this was the 3rd consecutive game where #5 Mike Frank was held of the home run tally after at least one in each of the first 7 games. 
• In the top of the 9th inning, #98 Cheryl Taylor struck out, which is funny because the bounce hit the umpire in the twig and berries. She also achieved her first career hit in the top of the 2nd inning.
• In the top of the 7th inning, #5 Mike Frank hit a fly ball that was missed badly by an outfielder and, after rounding 1st, had to slide back into 1st base, taking out an old lady in the process (standing in the way).
• A 14-11 win lifts the ManBearPigs' record to 11-0 to start the season.
