Game Summary

• Exciting walk-off, 9 inning victory in drizzling rain for the ManBearPigs.
• The ManBearPigs had little business winning this game as the opponents, especially the ladies, were hitting phenomenally well.
• The ManBearPigs scored 3 runs total in the first 4 innings, a single run an inning, and were down 8-3 after the 4th inning, allowing a 6-run top of the 3rd inning.
• After going down 10-3 after the top half of the 5th inning, the ManBearPigs scored 5 runs in the bottom half closing the gap to 10-8 before a disastrous 6-run top of the 6th inning for the opponents.
• The ManBearPigs would score back to back 3-run innings in the bottom of the 6th and 7th innings while putting up a zero in the top of the 7th inning.
• The score was 18-14 after a 2-run top half of the 8th inning for the opponents.
• "TSN Turning Point" -  Two on and two out in the bottom of the 8th inning.  #19 Michael McKenney at bat with 2 home runs on the evening, thus no more allowed home runs remaining.  He ropes a line drive to right field, tipping the ball off the outfielders glove and out of the park for a 4-base award, his 3rd home run of the night that counts (a team record).
• While the opponents argued with the umpire, who made the definitive and accurate call immediately, the ManBearPigs where celebrating the feat that brought them within a run of a tie (18-17).
• The ManBearPigs would tie the game in that same inning, setting up a 9th and final inning.
• A single run was scored by the opponents in the top half of the 9th inning after the ManBearPigs courteously allowed an injured female player to be skipped without penalty.
• Down 19-18, the ManBearPigs were down to there last out with runners at 2nd and 3rd base.
• #45 Todd Skelton was at bat and foul tipped a ball in then out of the catcher's glove, giving him a second chance with 2 strikes to ground a ball to the left side of the infield.
• The opponents promptly threw the ball away at 1st base, allowing both base runners to cross the plate for the walk-off victory.
• The win over a top opponent improved the ManBearPigs' record to 12-0.
