Game Summary

After suffering their first loss of the season, the Blue Angels had a pretty good bounce back game, defeating an opponent who were doing well within the lowest division.  The win was a walk-off mercy win in the bottom of the 8th inning where the Blue Angels required only one more run to reach a mercy.  At the large Memorial #4 diamond, the Blue Angels offense was back in business, with a lot of female run support. It was a four run game until the bottom of the 6th inning when the Blue Angels offense hit another gear and scored 7 runs in a  bat around inning.  While pitcher #99 Sandi Schellenberg had great performance at the mound as usual, she also helped her own cause out scoring 3 runs.  #84 Myles Calvert hit his first career 'in the park' home run in the bottom of the 5th inning.  The win was well deserved and gets the Blue Angels back on track with a record of 16-1-1.
